Disciplined Engineering Process: key to repeatable quality

SBS follows a proven method for engineering solid, robust and safe equipment for its clients. Our team includes a highly experienced manufacturing manager, biodiesel fuel production manager, mechanical and chemical engineers, AutoCad draftsman, as well as software programmers. Most of the team has bachelor or masters degrees in their field.

Research and Development: key to long term success

SBS has a laboratory in Silicon Valley, but we draw on worldwide talent. We work with professors from different universities, chemical industry consultants as well as equipment and chemical suppliers.

We are actively researching solutions that:

• Convert high fatty acid feed to biodiesel faster and at a lower cost (saves money for you)
• Process triglycerides to a higher percentage of completion (saves money for you)
• Reduce operating costs by reducing the amount of chemicals and the time needed to achieve the quality specification, (saves money for you!)

Current status

SunBio Systems received notice in late 2005 that a process it invented is patentable. Other research is going on in it's Silicon Valley lab that will soon be available for biodiesel producers.
